As the Steve Nash sign-and-trade deal aftermath continues, Phoenix Suns forward Grant Hill is reportedly considering leaving the team or retiring.

While the exodus of veterans from the Suns was expected, the absence of Hill could startle the Suns.

Last season, Hill posted an average of 10.2 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Hill also had platelet-enrichment surgery during the offseason, possibly pointing to the fact that he does not have plans to retire anytime soon.

    No reason to keep him
There is no reason to keep Hill anymore after Nash left. So makes sense. The Suns have officially started their rebuilding process. I understand every team goes through this, just so sudden and painful especially now that Nash will be in Laker colors.

    Hill
Hill's value is not much more than as veteran presence in the locker room. Nice if he stays, not a big deal if he leaves.

    Can you imagine?
Hill and Metta sharing the small forward position? Nash and Kobe sharing the ball? It will be like combining bleach and ammonia. LA fans will not necessarily like the results.
