It appears another Suns favorite will be heading to Hollywood.

Arizona Sports 620's John Gambadoro reported Friday that veteran Grant Hill may be the next Sun to head to division rival.

Hill has been linked to Los Angeles almost from the moment Steve Nash was traded, as his good relationship with the former Suns point guard as well as sturdy defense and leadership qualities would be a good fit for a Lakers team that believes it is a championship contender.

Although Suns president of basketball operations Lon Babby has said he would like to have the 39-year-old back in purple and orange next season, the team's rebuilding status could be a deterrent for Hill, who probably wants to play his final season(s) for a contender.

Hill played in just 46 games last season due to a knee injury, and averaged a career-low 10.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

    Leave Then
Suns need to make sure these two do not get to use the Suns training staff that have kept their careers going for longer than they should have. Not even on the trainers own time. Off limits period.

I admire Nash and Hill for staying around as long as they did, but you can't blame them for leaving. The Suns have done anything big in the last couple years to give Nash and Hill a reason to stay. There not going to win a championship with the suns, that's a given. So why not respect the fact that they want to win a championship before they retire. The Suns are always going to be around, Nash and Hill won't. So stop hating on them, and suck it up. Suns will rebuild, and have brought on some players so far this off season.

    Respect?
jaydumops- I respect the fact that Nash and Hill both deserve to compete for a championship. I do NOT respect the fact that they want to do it for our biggest rival. Their lack of respect for the fans and the city is extremely disappointing. The only game I could afford to go to this year was Nash's last game. I was there chanting his name. I wish now that I hadn't, because he didn't give 2 shhhhhhhhs.

    This isn't a big deal
Grant Hill is a bad offensive player at this point in his career. He shoots a low percentage, and is very old. For the Suns, it would be okay to keep him, but not a big deal. Either way Grant is not going to be part of the first group to bring a Finals trophy to Phoenix! The important players in the Suns orginization now are Marshall, Dragic, Beasley, Gortat, Morris, and Gordon if he comes. Those are potential impact players on a legit title contendor.
