Due to the trade that saw them part with center Marcin Gortat, the Phoenix Suns are in possession of the Washington Wizards’ first-round pick in the upcoming 2014 NBA Draft.

The Wizards and Brooklyn Nets finished with identical 44-38 records, meaning the league would have to determine which team would pick 17th and which would pick 18th.

Friday, it was announced the Nets won the drawing and will go first, meaning the Suns will be on the clock at number 18.

As it stands, the Suns are set to have the 14th, 18th and 27th picks in the first round of the draft. There is a 1.8 percent chance their own pick (14) will move up into the top into the top three.
