The Phoenix Suns announced Saturday that point guard Brandon Knight underwent “successful arthroscopic surgery” on his left ankle Friday.
The surgery was performed in Los Angeles by Dr. Richard Ferkel.
Knight played in 11 games this season with the Suns after getting acquired in a trade involving the Milwaukee Bucks on Feb. 19.
He averaged 17.0 points, 5.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals during the full season. With the Suns alone, he averaged 13.4 points per game with 4.5 assists in nine starts, before getting hurt.
