D-backs' Young making progress

The center fielder got off to a blistering start to the 2012 season, hitting .410 with five homers and 13 runs batted in during the D-backs' 7-4 start.
Since Young suffered a right shoulder contusion which landed him on the disabled list, the Diamondbacks have limped to a 2-6 mark and are embarking on a 10-game eastern road trip.
But there's hope on the horizon, courtesy of C.Y. himself, who updated his fans on Twitter Friday.

That's good news for the Diamondbacks, who are hitting just .230 as a team and are averaging 3.5 runs per game since Young went down with the injury.
Young is eligible to come off of the disabled list May 2.
