Chris Young cannot return to the Diamondbacks soon enough.
The outfielder, out since injuring his right shoulder on April 17, has been playing for Single-A Visalia as he works his way back into form.
And, after only a couple of games, it seems like he has.
Young went 1-for-4 Wednesday night with a grand slam, giving him seven RBI in just three minor league games. He's also hit .308 and tallied 10 total bases.
It's probably safe to say the D-backs could use his offense back in the lineup, and if all goes according to plan, he could rejoin the team this weekend in Kansas City.
