The Arizona Diamondbacks placed right-handed pitcher Josh Collmenter on the 15-day disabled list and recalled right-hander Brad Bergesen from Triple-A Reno.
Collmenter has posted a 3-3 record and a 4.24 ERA in 22 appearances (9 starts) for the D-backs, but will be shelved with what the organization described as ulcers on their official twitter account.
Bergesen, 26, was selected off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles last month and posted a 1.80 ERA in three relief appearances for Arizona before being optioned to Reno.
Bergesen has a career record of 17-24 and a 4.64 ERA in 86 big league games (59 starts).
