The Arizona Diamondbacks will be without the services of outfielder Cody Ross for the next couple of weeks due to a lower left leg strain.
"He's going to be out, probably two weeks or so," D-backs manager Kirk Gibson told Arizona Sports 620's Burns and Gambo Tuesday. "No running. He's going to hit, he's going to throw. So we'll have a better idea after a couple of weeks, see how he's doing."
Ross, who signed a three-year, $26 million contract in December, has yet to record a hit in seven Cactus League at bats.
