The Arizona Diamondbacks announced they had optioned outfielder Tony Campana to Triple-A Reno and recalled outfielder Alfredo Marte.

Marte, 24, will be in his second stint with the D-backs after appearing in 22 games for the team last season. In those 22 games, he hit .186 with four RBI.

In 26 games for the Aces this season, though, he has hit .342 with five doubles, one triple, one home run and 11 RBI.

The 27-year-old Campana appeared in 23 games for Arizona this season, batting .160 with two RBI and four stolen bases.
