The Phoenix Coyotes will open their Western Conference semifinal series with the Nashville Predators on Friday at 6 p.m. at Jobing.com Arena.

The Coyotes and Predators will play Game 2 on Sunday at 5 p.m. in Glendale.

The series will then head to Nashville for Games 3 and 4, which will be Wednesday the 2nd and Friday the 4th, respectively. Times for the two games have not yet been released.

The Coyotes are coming off a 4-2 series win over the Chicago Blackhawks. It was the first time advancing in the playoffs since they moved to Phoenix in 1996.

The Predators defeated the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 in their opening round series.

    Just like the Blackhawks, I expect the coyotes to have to earn everything. I suspect this series will take 6 or 7 games to determine a winner.
