According to a report, Phoenix Coyotes
forward Raffi Torres will have his chance to meet with NHL
commissioner Gary Bettman to appeal the length of his 25-game
suspension.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in New York City Thursday morning.
Torres was slapped with the longest punishment in the NHL since 2007 for his hit on Chicago's Marian Hossa in Game 3 of the Coyotes' first round playoff series against the Blackhawks.
Torres has missed the last nine games for Phoenix.
