Coyotes announce 2012 preseason schedule

In fact, in what may be a touch of irony (or humor by the schedule-makers), the Coyotes will open their exhibition campaign at home against the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, who knocked the Coyotes out of the Western Conference Final in five games.
