Actor Shia LaBeouf tweeted this photo of the apology he had written in the sky Wednesday to graphic artist Daniel Clowes. (Twitter photo/@thecampaignbook)

Shia LaBeouf, already caught red handed for stealing the storyline for his online short film "Howard," had an apology skywritten Wednesday to graphic artist Daniel Clowes.

Bleeding Cool reports the apology was approximately five miles long.

LaBeouf had apologized before, but his New Year's Day stunt expressed his regret bigger than ever.

Several celebrities mocked and were not happy with the actions of the "Transformers" actor, who got the idea for his short film from Clowes' 2007 graphic novella "Justin M. Damiano."

E! News reports LaBeouf and actress Lena Dunham got into a Twitter war of words Saturday.

It reminds to be seen how long the plagiarism accusation will affect LaBeouf's career and if he'll face legal damages brought forth by Clowes.,
