Phoenix Coyotes announce 2014 preseason schedule

The Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday announced their 2014 preseason schedule — an eight-game slate that will begin on Sept. 22.
The Coyotes, who will then be the Arizona Coyotes, open with a split-squad game against the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings before heading on a six-game road trip and then concluding the preseason at Jobing.com Arena on Oct. 3 against the San Jose Sharks.
The Coyotes will also play in the Kraft Hockeyville game in Sylvan Lake, Alberta against the Calgary Flames.
