All season long we heard about how tall ASU quarterback Brock Osweiler was.

"Six-foot-eight," every broadcaster said. And really, we mean every broadcaster. Seriously, you could not go a game without hearing about the junior's stature at least a half-dozen times.

It was all a lie.

According to CBSSports.com, Osweiler is not, in fact, 6-foot-8.

Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler, currently NFLDraftScout.com's No. 4 rated passer, measured in slightly shorter than he'd been listed by the Sun Devils. According to a league source, Osweiler measured in at 6-6 (7/8) and 242 pounds. He'd been listed by ASU at 6-8.

World. Turned. Upside-down.

Many of the questions surrounding his future in the NFL have centered around his height, since NFL QBs are not usually as tall as most NBA power forwards.

So, while he's still a tall one, dropping a couple inches may help him rise on draft boards.

    An inch and an eighth
You wrote "dropping a couple inches may help him rise on draft boards" Let see. They measured him at 6 foot 6 and 7/8 inches. 1/8 inch shy of 6' 7" How does this lower him a "couple of inches"? 1 and 1/8 inch isn't two. Not even close. No wonder so many people are upside down in their house loans. People can't do math!

ASU's math program is as bad as their football program. The ringmasters keep changing in this circus but the clown remains the AD. FIRE LISA LOVE FOR LYING TO THE TAXPAYERS OF ARIZONA! Her strong arm tactics don't work in a free society.

    The only reason they did
it is so they could claim they had the tallest QB in college ball ever. So falsifying information isn't past their line of integrity so what else did they fake?
