Vontaze Burfict could be on the verge of going from first
round pick to undrafted free agent over the span of about
seven months.
According to Rotoworld.com, NFL Network's Steve Wyche, on Path to the Draft, said Burfict has already been removed from some draft boards.
And, he's not the only who feels the former Sun Devil is slipping.
"This guy had a second-round grade at one point," noted NFL Net's Charley Casserly.
Burfict declared for the draft following his junior season in Tempe, ending a career that had is share of ups and downs.
In college, though, any question marks surrounding Burfict stemmed from his emotions, as he was consistently flagged for personal fouls due to late and excessively violent hits.
However, an underwhelming offseason that has seen Burfict struggle at the combine has NFL scouts concerned with his ability to play at the next level.
