Longtime college football expert Phil Steele released his
preseason All-Pac-12 Team, and five members of the Arizona
State Sun Devils landed on the squads.
Senior do-everything player Jamal Miles landed first team honors as a kick returner, second team honors as a punt returner and fourth team honors as a wide receiver. In 2011, Miles averaged 16.6 yards per punt return, 26.3 yards per kick return, caught 60 passes and scored a total of nine touchdowns.
Miles also was named as Steele's All-American third team punt returner.
Running back Cameron Marshall, who tied for second in the Pac-12 with 18 touchdowns last season, and linebacker Brandon Magee both earned second team honors.
Offensive lineman Evan Finkenberg and defensive tackle Will Sutton both appear on Steele's All-Pac-12 Fourth Team.
