Voting on ASU’s new Sparky begins Monday

Last month, Arizona State University held a glitzy, interactive press conference to introduce the new version of their beloved Sun Devil mascot, Sparky.

Reaction was negative, and that’s an understatement.

The university scrapped the plan and instead instituted a plan where students, alumni, season ticket holders, donors, faculty and staff will be eligible to vote on Sparky’s new look through May 5.
