For 13 members of the Arizona State Sun Devils, Saturday will mark the last time they’ll run out of Tillman Tunnel and onto Frank Kush field for a football game.

It’s Senior Day for ASU as the Sun Devils host the Washington State Cougars.

By comparison, 28 seniors were honored by Arizona State last season.

Here’s a thumbnail on each of the 13 seniors on the roster who will be honored in pregame festivities.

93 • Paul Crawford • 6-8, 270 pounds • DL • Los Angeles, CA

Crawford is a transfer from Florida International University, where he played in 31 career games. He has seen action in six games this year, and blocked a field goal attempt in the Sun Devils’ win at Washington Oct. 25.

74 • Jamil Douglas • 6-4, 300 pounds • LT • Cypress, CA

Douglas has been a stalwart on the Sun Devils’ offensive line, and has started 37 consecutive games. As a junior in 2013, he was an All-Pac-12 Second Team selection and moved over to left tackle for his senior season. Douglas is on the Watch List for both the Lombardi Award and the Outland Trophy.

25 • Alex Garoutte • 6-1, 200 pounds • K/P • Phoenix, AZ

Garoutte served as ASU’s primary placekicker in 2011, hitting 15-of-22 field goal attempts and 52-of-53 extra points.

In 2012, the former Brophy star continued to kick off and handle extra point duties, but was replaced as the team’s field goal kicker by Jon Mora. Garoutte hit 59-of-60 extra points and 6-of-11 field goals on the season.

In 2013, he added punting to his résumé, averaging 38.8 yards on 35 boots.

Garoutte is also not your protypical kicker in that he likes to get downfield after a kickoff and make tackles. In fact, he’s been in on nine special teams tackles in 2014.

1 • Marcus Hardison • 6-4, 300 pounds • DL • Punta Gorda, FL

After a standout two-year stint at Dodge City (KS) Community College, Hardison chose ASU over offers from Auburn, Baylor, Florida State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and others. As a junior, Hardison supplied depth on the defensive line and registered five total tackles. He really has made his mark as a senior, leading the Devils with eight sacks and 11 tackles for loss. Had his first career interception and two pass breakups in ASU’s win over Notre Dame Nov. 8.

10 • Taylor Kelly • 6-2, 210 pounds • QB • Eagle, ID

After starting the 2012 training camp third on the QB depth chart, Kelly took control of the position, beating out both Mike Bercovici and Michael Eubank for the job. Kelly threw for 3,039 yards and 29 touchdowns in his first year as a starter, leading the Sun Devils to an 8-5 record and a win over Navy in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco.

Kelly upped his game in 2013, passing for 3,635 yards and 28 touchdowns while running for nine more as he led ASU to its first-ever Pac-12 South title and a spot in the conference championship game. He was named an All-Pac-12 Second Team pick at quarterback.

His 2014 season has been bumpy. The senior suffered a foot injury in a win over Colorado in September and missed three games, but has still thrown for 1,498 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Kelly is 24-10 as a starter, has thrown for 8,203 yards and 71 touchdowns in his career.

1 • Deantre Lewis • 5-11, 192 pounds • RB • Norco, CA

Lewis’ career started off on the right foot at Arizona State. In his first game as a true freshman in 2010, he ran for 24 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 100 yards and two more scores in a 54-9 rout of Portland State. He became a steady performer with big play ability, as he showed with three consecutive 100-yard rushing games against Wisconsin, Oregon and Oregon State.

Heading into his sophomore season, Lewis was struck by a bullet in a shooting in his hometown of Norco, Calif. and he missed the entire 2011 season.

In the three seasons that have followed, he’s been a contributor on offense, defense and special teams. For his career, Lewis has run for 1,023 yards and six touchdowns while catching 39 passes for 558 yards and two scores.

7 • Kyle Middlebrooks • 5-9, 190 pounds • RB • Fountain Valley, CA

Middlebrooks’ career has almost mirrored Lewis’ in a lot of ways. As a freshman, he showed big play ability on offense and special teams, running for 82 yards and a touchdown, catching 13 passes for 86 yards and averaging 26.4 yards per kickoff return.

Against Arizona in 2012, he suffered a serious knee injury and missed the entire next season. In 2014, he has returned punts and kickoffs for the Sun Devils, averaging 4.8 yards and 22.5 yards, respectively.

12 • De’Marieya Nelson • 6-2, 235 pounds • TE • Stockton, CA

Transferred to ASU from San Joaquin Delta College in California. As a junior in 2013, Nelson scored four touchdowns, including two on the ground, in ASU’s 58-21 romp over Arizona.

As a senior, Nelson has played on both sides of the ball, catching nine passes for 101 yards and registering 10 total tackles and 0.5 sacks.

3 • Damarious Randall • 5-11, 190 pounds • S • Pensacola, FL

Randall was a junior college standout at Mesa Community College before transferring to ASU for his junior season.

As a junior, he was tied for third on the team with 71 total tackles and had a 64-yard interception return for a touchdown in the Sun Devils’ rout of Arizona.

In 2014, Randall has been a leader on defense and is second on the team with 84 tackles. He also has two interceptions (one returned for a TD vs. Notre Dame), 7.5 tackles for loss, a sack, six pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

He was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week following the Stanford game when he helped the Devils to a convincing 26-10 win over the defending conference champions.

79 • Chip Sarafin • 6-6, 325 pounds • OL • Gilbert, AZ

Sarafin, a former walk-on, was awarded a scholarship at the beginning of the 2014 season. He hasn’t made much of an impact on game days, but has been an integral part of the squad as a scout team member.

Sarafin also made national headlines in August when he announced he is gay, making him the first openly-gay college football player in the country.

12 Ronnie Sellers • 5-10, 177 pounds • DB • Glendale, AZ

The former Greenway High and Glendale Community College product has seen action in one game in 2014.

54 • Tyler Sulka • 6-4, 295 pounds • RT • Sherman Oaks, CA

Sulka has been an important part of the Sun Devils’ offensive line for the past two seasons. After starting one game each during his redshirt freshman and sophomore seasons, Sulka has started 24 consecutive games for ASU.

20 • Marcus Washington • 6-0, 225 pounds • LB • Phoenix, AZ

Washington has been a jack-of-all-trades since stepping onto the ASU campus in 2010. The Desert Vista High product has played on offense, defense and special teams during his career.

On offense, he has run for 41 yards on 13 carries and got his only career touchdown in 2011 in a season-opening win over UC Davis.

He has also registered 12 total tackles in his career.
