On Tuesday, Arizona State announced a change in uniform partnerships, leaving Nike and opting for adidas.
The Sun Devils will sport adidas until 2023, with the apparel giant committing nearly $34 million to the school to provide it with athletic clothing, footwear and accessories.
Snoop Dogg tweeted his support of ASU within hours of the announcement, attaching a video with a special message for the program.
Snoop Dogg is seen holding an adidas-branded ASU No. 21 jersey, which is worn by wide receiver Jaelen Strong, whom the hip hop artist and entertainer publicly praised earlier this season for a highlight reel catch.
‘Coach Snoop’ is lettered across the back of the jersey. As the artist signs off, he refers to himself as, “Coach Snoop The Great,” before flashing a pitchfork sign and exclaiming, “Forks up!”
