Now that the 2014 college football season is over, the Associated Press released their final rankings Tuesday morning.
The Arizona State Sun Devils (10-3) are ranked 12th in the final poll, second among Pac-12 teams behind only Oregon (2nd) and UCLA (10th).
Todd Graham’s team won the Sun Bowl and finished with 10 or more wins for the second straight season, the first time that feat has been accomplished in Tempe since a four-year run of double-digit wins from 1970 to 1973.
ASU’s final ranking was their highest since the 1996 season, when they were fourth in the season-ending poll.
In all, six Pac-12 teams were included in the poll. In addition to Oregon, UCLA and ASU, Arizona finished 19th, USC was 20th and Utah came in at number 21.
