Katy Perry's latest single "Roar" is holding strong on the No. 1 Billboard spot, but some people are particularly upset over the song's music video.

According to Huffington Post, animal rights group PETA opened up to the Daily Star about their anger surrounding the video's jungle theme.

"Animals used for entertainment endure horrific cruelty and suffer from extreme confinement and violent training methods," said PETA spokeswoman Merrilee Burke.

"They often become stressed and anxious when hauled around and forced into unfamiliar or frightening situations."

Burke added that the exhibitor who PETA believes supplied the animals for the shoot was inspected by the U.S. Department of Agriculture 22 times since 2001.

The clip, which debuted earlier this month, features Perry surrounded by elephants, monkeys and toucans.

"Roar" is Perry's is the first single off her upcoming album "Prism."
