The No. 10 Arizona Wildcats football team can add another top 10 ranking to its résumé.
New America, a non-profit public policy institute, ranked UA No. 9 among this year’s CFP top 25 schools in its Academic Football Playoff Series 2014.
The rankings were largely based on each school’s graduation success rate, including the difference between the school’s overall graduation rate and the graduation rate of its football players.
UA was the fourth-highest ranked Pac-12 school. UCLA was ranked No. 2, ASU No. 5 and Utah No. 8.
Oregon, which defeated UA in the 2014 Pac-12 Championship game, is ranked No. 14.
USC was ranked last among all CFP top 25 schools.
