The statue of Joe Paterno should not be removed. It should be detonated. To leave the statue standing effectively degrades and demeans every other statue across our landscape that stands with dignity (ie, Pat Tillman).

Because, according to Forbes, in the year preceding July 1, 2011, Penn State tied with Georgia for the second-highest football profit ($53 million).
