After winning their first three games of the season, Arizona’s men’s basketball team fell back a spot to No. 3 in the country in the AP Top 25.
The Wildcats are ranked behind Kentucky in the AP poll. The Coaches Poll places Arizona No. 4, behind Kentucky, Duke and Wisconsin.
Arizona earned one first-place vote in the Coaches Poll.
The team’s wins came against Mount St. Mary’s University, California State University-Northridge and University of California-Irvine, with an average margin of victory of over 19 points per game.
UCLA (22) is the only other Pac-12 school ranked in the top 25. Utah dropped from No. 25 following a loss to San Diego State last Tuesday.
The Wildcats take on Missouri at the Maui Invitational on Monday, their first of three games in the tournament. Their next home game is against Gardner-Webb next Tuesday.
