Arizona State head coach Todd Graham and University of Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez were guests of ESPN’s College Football Live Thursday, with each getting a chance to talk about their rising programs on a national stage.
Touching on in-state recruiting, styles of play, facility renovations and commitments to the football programs, the second-year coaches also discussed the challenges of competing against all the Southern California schools have to offer.
Fans who are intense with regards to the rivalry between the schools may be disappointed in how cordial the coaches were towards each other, but it was an informative interview that gives a glimpse into what the coaches are doing with their respective schools.
