Suns' Isaiah Thomas scores 47 points in Seattle Pro-Am game

The Phoenix Suns' biggest acquisition of the summer so far, Isaiah Thomas, played in a Seattle Basketball Pro-Am game Saturday and put on a show, but he also walked out of the contest early due to a controversial call.

Thomas was playing as a member of the Ball Is Life Vikings, who faced the DRG Wolverines on Saturday. Jamal Crawford (Los Angeles Clippers) and Dorell Wright (Portland Trail Blazers) are among the Wolverines' ranks. says Thomas -- a Tacoma, Wash. -- native, dropped 47 points in the Pro-Am contest. In fact, the 5-foot-9 guard nearly posted a triple-double, as he added 10 rebounds and nine assists in the outing. The basketball site also said it was Thomas' Seattle Pro-Am debut, but several articles and videos show the point guard participated in the league last year as well.

Near the end of regulation in Saturday's contest, a Vikings player was reportedly whistled for a questionable foul on Crawford. The reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year made the first of three free throws but intentionally missed the last two to send the game into overtime.

The call was so bad that the Viking's Isaiah Thomas took off his shoes and jersey, exited the court and went to the locker room.

Ball Is Life didn't say whether Thomas returned or not in overtime, but a tweet from the Seattle Pro-Am says that he did.

And his return appeared to be a boost for the Vikings, as they emerged in overtime by a final of 135-127.
