Burns & Gambo Holiday Heroes benefiting The 100 Club of Arizona
Thank you Arizona.
The proceeds will help provide financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty, and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare.
Holiday Heroes kicks off a great day as Arizona Sports 620's Burns and Gambo support The 100 Club of Arizona.

The first guest has a story you are very familiar with, the tragic Yarnell Fire Tragedy from this past summer.
Juliann Ashcraft's husband Andrew Ashcraft was a member of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots crew. They have four small kids -- the oldest being seven years old.
Her husband was not full time so she will not be receiving survivor benefits or retirement benefits from the government.
11:00 a.m.: A HUGE thank you to Native New Yorker as their CEO, Dan Chaon, stopped by to donate a check for $10,000!
The first Majerle's Sports Grille Scoreboard update reads $14,250 after 90 minutes.
11:30 a.m.: Another story from the past year as a police officer on duty doing his job lost his life.
Daryl Raetz was killed in a hit-and-run accident as he was conducting a traffic stop with a suspected drunk driver. He was hit by an SUV at 3:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning in May.
Raetz's wife Stephanie told her story of how much The 100 Club of Arizona has helped her throughout the year.

Misty Knutson-Snyder's Father, DPS Officer Doug Knutson, was killed in the line of duty in 1998. Watch and listen to her story on how The 100 Club of Arizona help her family following that tragic event.
1:00 p.m.: Bashas' stopped by Holiday Heroes and brought a check for more than $86,000 to benefit The 100 Club of Arizona.

2:00 p.m.: Parada del Sol's Mike Glover, Committee member of Parada del Sol and Phoenix Fire Department, and Jake Jacobson, Parada del Sol VP, chose the 100 Club to donate their proceeds from "Back the Badge Bull Riding" event.
The guys brought in a check for $8,300.

Baxter from the Arizona Diamondbacks came to silly string Gambo. Thanks, Baxter!
3:30 p.m.: Courtney DuBois is a Scholarship Recipient of $10,000 from the 100 Club Grand Scholarship. She's a freshman at ASU. Courtney's father is currently Fire Marshal for Town of Gilbert and has been a firefighter for 26 years.
Her GPA was 4.8 Straight A's (Freshman-Senior year), President of National Honor Society and Creative Director for Graphic Design -- Volunteer 100 Club and Angel Acres and the Town of Gilbert.
5:45 p.m.: Gone! All jerseys from the Just Sports jersey wall were sold today. Many of you ended up with great signed jerseys while the money is going to help families of fallen officers.
6:00 p.m.: The final Majerle's Sports Grill Scoreboard reads $180,276. An amazing day for the state of Arizona and The 100 Club of Arizona.
