2:00 pm-3:00 pm The show starts off with Doug & Wolf discussing what they feel is the most compelling story in Arizona sports right now: the dissatisfaction of Suns’ fans or the trading of Justin Upton. Lindsay Hunter’s 2-0 record is discussed and broken down especially the importance of Goran Dragic’s early success under the new coach. Is it Hunter’s coaching or is it the teams the Suns played? NFL officials are angry by the NFL’s selection of who will officiate the Super Bowl and accused the NFL of changing grades in order to get the officials the NFL wanted in the game. Doug & Wolf put the week in review and revisit every important story in a very busy week in Arizona sports. Listen | Download 3:00 pm-4:00 pm The story of how Jahvid Best’s career, former UC Berkeley and Detroit Lions running back, appears to be over because of concussions. Doug & Wolf talk about both quarterbacks in the Super Bowl and the comments Jim Harbaugh made about his young quarterback. Wolf says it’s because Harbaugh WANTS the pressure to be on Colin Kaepernick. Shazaam! The play-by-play voice of the Suns Al McCoy calls the show and discusses the look of the Suns in the last two games under new coach Lindsay Hunter. Doug & Wolf then replay and discuss the best moments from all the interviews from the past week including Suns owner Robert Sarver, GM Lance Blanks, President of basketball operations Lon Babby, and D-Backs GM Kevin Towers and Manager Kirk Gibson. Listen | Download 5:00 pm-6:00 pm Doug & Wolf revisit what they say has been arguably the best eight days for Arizona Sports 620. “Twitter News You Can Use”: Tom Brady’s new $20 million house in Los Angeles that has a real moat, Ray Lewis gives his teammates advice, Colts owner Jim Irsay gives a follower $8,500, and Dr. Phil books the first interview with the man behind the Manti T’eo girlfriend scam. Doug & Wolf then find out exactly what fans are willing to trade for the station’s autographed Justin Upton jersey. The winner: Douglas who offered an autographed Larry Fitzgerald jersey and a Jack Nicklaus Master’s flag. Also, they discuss their favorite “sound” of the week from all the great interviews on Arizona Sports. Listen | Download |
