Whether good or bad, sports and gambling are intertwined.
Whenever a big move is made by a sporting team, betting odds fluctuate.
Accuscore, a sports betting website, has reacted to the Kevin Kolb trade and has adjusted the Cardinals' playoffs odds.
Kevin Kolb boosts Arizona's win total by 13.8% over John Skelton at QB. Playoff probability increases by 7.3%. #nfl #cardinals
Although Kolb only has seven career starts, he has shown more promise and is almost unanimously believed to be better than John Skelton.
Cardinals fans may be unsure about how to feel about Kolb's lack of experience, but they should definitely be excited about the 7.3% increase in playoff odds.
Preseason betting lines mean nothing and do not necessarily predict how the season will go, but this is a good sign for the Cardinals.
