Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson (89) catches a pass against cornerback Fred Bennett (23) during practice at NFL football training camp, Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, in Georgetown, Ky.
The Cardinals didn't need much time to find a replacement for Greg Toler, signing veteran Fred Bennett late Monday.

Bennett, 27, has played in Houston, San Diego and, most recently, Cincinnati during his four NFL seasons. He's recorded 106 tackles and five interceptions.

Bennett was originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2007 draft by the Texans.

The Cardinals were looking for a cornerback after Toler was placed on injured reserve due to a torn ACL in his left knee.
