Beanie Wells does not want you to worry.

The running back missed practice Thursday due to a hamstring problem, prompting fans to worry about his availability for Sunday's big game in Seattle.

Thursday on the Big Red Rage, Wells said there is nothing to worry about.

"I just needed a little bit of rest," he told host Paul Calvisi. "It's nothing major at all."

Wells is off to a great start this season, picking up 183 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the team's first two games, but has a history of injury troubles so the latest news was a bit concerning.

However, if he says he's good to go then we should probably believe him, though there will probably be some worry every time he's a little slow to get up after a run.

    Idiot
There's a difference between flipping a burger and getting rammed by 250-300 lb elite angry athletes. If you knew anything about training, rest (along with nutrition) is the most important necessity to optimal performance. I would like to see them all get more rest. Your employer doesn't need you to be at your best physically. That was a stupid analogy. You're just another bitter idiot that resents athletes.

I'm a productive employee. Whenever I want a day off my boss gives it to me. Cooker, try working hard and being productive, and then ask your boss for a day off. I guarantee you if you make them happy, they'll work with you:) I'm all for resting Beanie. He's a feature RB and we have to keep him fresh. DONT HATE!

    Count me in a nervous
HE is on pace for a big season right now sure, but he hasnt carried 20 times in either game yet, as pointed out on air this week. A guy that size would seem to be more durable than Beanie has shown to be.
