People are still buzzing about rookie Patrick Peterson's 99-yard punt return for a touchdown in the Cardinals' overtime win over the Rams last Sunday in Glendale.

And they're still buzzing about Peterson' 89-yard td return on opening day that proved to be the winning margin over Carolina and the 82-yard return for a score against Baltimore two weeks ago.

Three punt returns in his first eight professional football games. Peterson leads the NFL in punt return average by a wide margin and is largely responsible for the Cardinals' two victories this year.

And for that reason, the mid-season accolades continue to pour in for Peterson.

Peterson has been named by as the punt returner on their Mid- season All-Pro Team. Peterson was named to a similar squad by Pro Football Weekly earlier this week.
