Tough decision: To buy an Arizona Cardinals Kevin Kolb jersey or not?

Life is all about making the tough decisions. Things like, do you spend a little bit more time at the office to get work done or do you go home to spend time with the family? Should you pay the electric bill or buy food? Do you spend $10 to go see beautiful people in casual relationships in Friends with Benefits at the theater or watch the same movie on DVD when it was called No Strings Attached? You know, the important things.
The Arizona Cardinals made their tough decision on Thursday when they landed quarterback Kevin Kolb in exchange for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a second round pick. Their conclusion left me having to make a difficult one of my own. Do I buy a Kolb jersey?
I'm sure many of my other fellow Cards fans are struggling with the same conundrum, and why shouldn't we? For years we've bought jerseys of guys who the team sold as the future like Jake Plummer, Andre Wadsworth, Thomas Jones, Marcel Shipp (I actually know someone who owns one of those), Matt Leinart and even Max Hall … nevermind on that last one. All of them now either hang in the back of our closets in shame, have long since been placed in the Goodwill donation box or are used to wash our cars.
For months I've been a proponent of the Cardinals acquiring Kolb. He was the biggest name quarterback on the market. While I was glad they made the deal, I'm now nervous to put my own money where my mouth is.
Maybe it's because I'm what many fans have called the Cards for years, cheap, or maybe I'm just gun-shy because I've invested more in failed players' jerseys than I did in my college education. Whatever the reason, I'm just not sure I can invest $90 on the new Cardinal Red No. 4 jersey.
In the end I have a feeling that I'll put aside the pain of the past and ignore the shameful pile of worthless red and white laundry that is stashed in a box somewhere at my house and buy a Kolb jersey. The only difficult decision is do I buy the red, white or black version?
Your Turn: Will you invest money in a Kevin Kolb jersey?
