Nash: "I want to be a Sun"

"I want to be a Sun."
Those six words are music to Phoenix Suns fans ears. Especially when they come out of the mouth of their beloved point guard Steve Nash.
Nash made it clear that his career in Phoenix won't be coming to an end anytime soon due to a trade or retirement.
"Obviously next year is already in the contract and right now I'd love to play another two after that," Nash told Sports 620 KTAR's Doug and Wolf. "Right now I really want to concentrate about next year."
"I don't really feel like playing with anyone else," the point guard said. "I want to play with the Suns and I want us to get ourselves back to where we were last year and try to turn that corner and get to the finals"
If Nash's dream is to come true, he'll need the front office to buy in and invest in a scorer who can help take the offensive pressure off of the point guard for next season. If this season taught us anything, it's that you can't win with only one star on the floor.
That's probably why, when Steve Nash says he wants to remain in Phoenix, it sounds better to fans than anything they've ever heard at symphony hall.
