    2010?? HA
No good FA will come to Phx with that pathetic of a team. Sorry, just wont happen. Gumbo, you make it sound like amare has been hurt every year. Outside of his knee surgery, the eye thing was a freak accident and is his second injury. Bietrus or whatever his name is, is hurt every year! The dude is, along with B Wright are rail thin and will be injured a lot more than Amare has or will be. Suns are morons to not look at all options, and that is bringing him back. You don’t give up on a 26 yr old PF that is one of the best in the league. He is hitting his prime. I would love the chandler trade big time over the GSW trade. let our docs do their work on him and he will be healthy? Plus, why would Hill want to come back with this team?

    Suns are a Mess
Gambo, buddy, I wish I didn't have to move out of state this week so I could hear all about your trip to Italy and how much money you spent. I am sure that it will be four hours of classic radio broadcasting. Maybe you could have saved that small fortune and invested it in the Suns, yeah, the Suns probably would have package your investment in some bad deal to another team. While I do agree with most of what you are saying, I can't believe I just wrote that, Heathcliff below has a point. Big named free agents just don't come to Phoenix. Nash, Chambers, and Manning, those are really the only free agents I remember over the years, and we are missing one key guy to lure them in, Jerry. Sorry, your buddy Bobby Sarvino as I like to call him, just won't have the allure that Jerry had. With Jerry a handshake meant something, with Sarver, it just means you need to wash your hand. So let's discuss this mess. This team has to rebuild, I don't see what other direction this team could take. Let's say they decide to give it a go next year. Steve and Amare will still be the worst pick and roll defenders in the league, and the Suns don't have the three point threats to make their offense that extra special something it was a few years ago. I don't believe tinkering is the way to go. Nash is on the decline, and Amare won't resign here, so what's the point. It is time to rebuild. Rebuilding is going to be tough also. We know that free agenst won't come here, so who cares how much "Cap flexibilty" we have, unless the Suns have come up with some new way to attract players here next year. That leaves the draft and trades. Anyone that has a shred of sanity knows we are not getting great value or probably even good value for Steve or Amare, all we can hope for is that we get unproven players that blossom into something special. And who knows if the deal with GS works out, maybe we get that. Then there is the draft scenario, oh wait, yeah I forgot, my bad. I still can't believe to this day we had to give someone a 1st rounder to take someone we didn't want off our hands. I hope the Suns learned their lesson, don't trade away future 1st rounders. I would trade away a current pick if I knew where I was picking and I didn't like the options, but never a future, you don't know where you will end up. This is the problem, I don't believe Robby when he says he will pay if he has to, maybe he did in the past, but with the way the economy is, I have a feeling that he will now turn into a penny pinching owner. Sarver needs for this team to make money, if it does not, he will continue to cut and make financial decisions and not basketball ones. The team will start a death spiral that will take years to recover from. Or he could keep it all together and continue to tinker and play the bottom line game. Either options are bad. I don't know if the Suns can pull this GS deal off or not, and I don't like some of the other options I have heard out there. I can't even begin to make up my own trade fantasies, because if I was GM, I wouldn't touch Amare. Nash I really think is a great trade deadline bait. I really think you could get something back in return at the deadline because some team will be close and will want him. Maybe what the Suns should do is trade for old bad players in the league and ask for a first pick with the player because the player is so old and bad. Like maybe they should trade with Houston for Mutumbo, we give Houston cash and get him plus a first rounder. Yeah it won't work because the Suns can't trade with themselves and no one else is dumb enough to make that move.

    GAMBO!
Kerr CANNOT make this trade unless he gets Anthony Randolph. Biedrins and a bunch of role players is not fair value.. I don't expect equal value for Amare, it's unrealistic. I'd rather we ride it out and let Amare walk, and get all that capspace. But he needs to show the stones and stand ground for ONCE since they're so insistent on keeping Curry (who I don't even want!). He can't give in to them, or he'll continue to be the joke of the league. He's been ripped off way too many times as it is, he might as well quit afterwards. I'll lose any faith I had left in him to do right and may not watch another game until he does. Because, I know he can get bent backwards. He can't be fooled. Hold off as long as it takes to get AR. Golden State needs this to happen more than the Suns do. Warriors can't get Bosh, or anyone of his impact with this lowball deal. They can't lure anyone in FA either. Nelson also doesn't have long to coach. Let them come to him. But I know what'll happen, Kerr will settle and allow them to screw the Suns.

Trade them all. Start over. Then fire Kerr. BTW, Gamwow... I heard you shot a 92 on the links in Italy. I think I'd like to go golfing with you...

You cannot make the trade with GS
Amare wont sign there. Done deal. Best bet is to resign Amare to a max deal, pump him the ball all season. Get his numbers through the roof and then teams will drop their pants to get him. It is not that complicated. If they are able to make the trade for Tyson Chandler, that will give us a very competetive starting squad with some emerging bench players. Nash, Amare, Chandler, Hill, Richardson is a playoff team.
