    AMARE
Maybe Amare forgot that playoff performance also contributes to getting a huge contract... Look, it was one game. If he rebounds (no pun intended) and plays the rest of the series like he played the past three months, then no harm, no foul (again, no pun intedned). I am anti-Amare but I say lets see how this series plays out.Lets see if he can play with more intensity and drive then he did last night. One more thing, PLEASE stop allowing him to speak to the media. Jarrod P.

    Nope
The coach failed the team. It is his job to setup workable matchups. They should have use Amar'e as bate to draw Candy out of the pocket to allow the small guys to get in sync by driving the board, and then once in sync do the two-three combo. This failure only belongs to the coaching staff. It started by not losing to Utah. We have shown we can win over DENV, and we have not shown this over Portland.

Amare - Being who he is
If you watch the suns play on a consistent basis and really understand the game then this shouldn't be surprising. Portland is a well coached team with a very good, athletic, and long front court. Amar'e lives and dies from Pick & Rolls, and feeding off of his man's responsibility to help on defense. He does not box out, ever. He is consistently lost on defense, does not rotate well, and is horrible at helping guards recover off of picks (on & off the ball). And most importantly Amar'e is not a one on one scorer, he just isn't.

    Sidenote
To be a max money guy (which is what amar'e thinks he is) you have to ATLEAST be a top 10 player in the league. he is not even the best player on the team, that distinction goes to a 6'2" 36 Year Old Point-Guard. So everyone must soon take Amar'e for what he is, or else we will be stuck in the same situation we were with Shawn Marion for the next 5 years.

To Alvin Gentry- Please teach Amare "The Ball Fake" i.e. Dribble into the lane, when they come to guard you, fake like your going to put it up, when they all jump up in the air, initiate contact by jumping into them and bingo.....25 free throws per game!!! I know its old school but it still works especially if you are facing your man. Have him give a try on Tuesday!!
