After a decade of losing to the Spurs, law of averages rears it's head & Suns finally win--- it will be short lived & next year will be Bad News as Nash keeps getting older & Amare sprints out of town. We all hate LA but they will win & face Magic/Celts or Cavs
If we win it all this year, I will be content with us sucking next year. I just need one championship for bragging rights for a while.
Also, it's not as gloomy as you think. Goran Dragic improves with every passing day and will be a great replacement for Nash. If Amare leaves, there are plenty of free agents out there. You can't replace Amare, obviously, but imagine if Dirk Nowitski came to play with Nash for a couple years? That would be exciting.
Sorry Champ---No Bragging Rights; getting Nowitski would be a big time mistake & young Dragic will be good but he is No Steve Nash
Letting Amare go is the Right Thing to Do but go after the REAL Prime Time Players
Beating the Spurs who are Old & Hurt was No Big Deal--- Facing LA will be different even though I JUST HATE LA
Put Grant Hill on Kobe (can't stop him but CAN contain him) and but Dudley and Lopez (given Lopez will be back) on Gasol, and we will have a chance. Gotta stop Fisher too though. It should be a good series either way. We can only hope for the best!
Champ : I admire your persistence but you have a better chance winning the lottery than the Suns have @ beating LA ; Lopez if healthy would be a none factor & Hill as much as we all respect him, has no chance @ guarding Kobe
Take it easy & simmer your hopes down---do not want you to fall too hard ( LA wins either in 5 or 6 games )---Suns will not be swept ( best I can do for ya )
Good whatever you do, do not quit your day job since winning the lottery is remote & your hopes of beating LA will diminish after every game until LA plays the Best of the East---whomever comes out of the East, is the team I want to knock off the Lakers--- Magic could surprise everyone ( Regardless GO Cavs/Celts/Magic )
