on the GM front. I am very worried that this is a role that Sarver thinks he can do, which would equate to the Planet Orange being destroyed by an asstroid.
I think we are going to see Nash and Hill packaged before the trade deadline next year, with the Suns hoping that a contender will want to give up some quality talent for one of the best PG in the league.
He took us to the west championship that we almost won in Amar'e showed up. Not the GM and not Griffin, but the own. All of it falls on him. I trust him since he took us there. You all think he is an idiot, but he is the owner of the suns. They have the 4th all time best record in the NBA only below the Lakers, Celtics, and Spurs, which we took the spurs out, and almost the lakers to lead us to take out the Celtics. At least he was the owner who took out the spurs...
I am lifelong Suns fan and a huge Nash fan, but I think I'd rather see Nash have a chance to win a championship or two with another team than to stay in Sarver hell. Trade Nash and Hill to Miami and let them beat LA for a couple of rings rather than keep them here and let them lose to LA for three years. The Sun have to rebuild anyway.
Fisher you are no true fan. If you were you would trust ownership. You are a media bandwagoner. As soon as they say the suns are rebuilding or falling a part you are on that bandwagon, vs trusting and looking at who the leader is and who owns the team. You are no fan... Trade Nash?
Nash is not asking for it Mr Life Long Fan. Nash, Frye, etc all trust in the suns, but you Mr Coach Potato cannot. Man the suns should have you replace Griffin and the GM since you know so much.
..Sarver is the guy who will need to rebuild it. We are almost better riding this wagon until the wheels fall off, because the wagon will probably sit in the ditch from that point on.
He is the one who took us the wester championship. Give the guy some trust, confidence, and respect. Nash, Frye, Dudley, Hill, Gentry, etc are. I think they know the game better than you. Now they have an entire unselfish team. The selfish one left. Then you always have people under the king who think they know better than the king. The own is the king and knows best- he is the owner from a reason.
Things are going to be ok. Look at the past 5 seasons. 3 seasons of championship caliber ball- yes I know they did not win. 1 bad year. Then the surprise last season. It is now time to dig our feet in as Suns fans and accept the fact that we have 1-2 seasons of mediocrity ahead. Every season cannot be a great one.
Look for Nash to eventually be traded to attempt that long elusive championship. But give Sarver a chance- he has delivered winners to us before and I trust he will again.

Over the last several days I've been consistently surprised at the outlook many people seem to have towards the future of this basketball team. The optimism most people seem to be showing towards what is an uncertain future at best, and an owner that has absolutely no experience with rebuilding a pro sports franchise, is astounding. Robert Sarver was given a gift when he bought the Suns, and he and the front office only had to tinker with it since. Considering his past decisions, especially recently, to say this will be a long road is a total understatement.
They suns will rock this season. I do worry about only two teams in their division Portland and The Super Sonics aka and OKC. In the east only one team and it is not the Heat. See they took the best ingredients for pizza, steak, and lobster and put them together to make wine. I assure you the selfishness of all players will land them in a place they mihgt not be able to come out of- or I will be surprised. I like 3 players, but wonder about the chemistry of them together.
