    I like the idea of getting a free agent or trading for another QB merely as a stop gap measure, then in the first round draft best QB available. It is gamble but in order to be successful long term in this league you need the franchise QB. But you know the Cards, they will go cheap. Ownership likes to win but they are far more concerned about the bottom line. A top QB will mean lots of bucks.

    Anyone remember the last great team that had a "running" QB? Probably because there were none. Talk to AZ's last Hall of Fame QB and Kurt will tell you,as he did a couple weeks ago on azcentral, "they don't work." Supposed Card fans that want Cam Newton are not Cardinal fans; probably 49 fans hoping we hurt any chance we have of rebuilding.

    mentioned another sports website where Kurt Warner talked about the futility of running QB's, in reference to the Cam Newton luvfest and this website refused to post it. Makes you wonder about the value of this site??

    I like the idea, especially after Wiz screwed this season up by his poor handling of the QB position. The QB is a sexy pick, however, I don’t fully trust coach Wiz in drafting. I am not sold on taking a QB when we NEED SO MUCH! The fact is, they had a team in place and the last piece was a QB. They built up the on both sides of the ball and then the last piece was a QB. They are teams that RUN the ball! I believe we are far from this reality. I still think Locker might have the most potential, but I am not sold on any as of now.

    I mean other teams built up a team on both sides of the ball and then added a QB.

    Those FA's were all part of the old Cardinal way and most played in the NFC East before realignment. Pick up a veteran QB and use the draft both for other needs and a young QB.
