    Class Act
Beautiful letter Doug. I know they used to call Ktachuk "Captain Coyote", but Doaner will forever be "Captain Coyote" in my book. The guy is the definition of a class act, and deserves better than what he has received. If the Coyotes had 20 Shane Doan's on the team, there would be several Stanley Cups in the lobby of the soon-to-be-vacant Jobing.com Arena. Good luck in the future Mr. Doan. We'll be cheering for you no matter where you are.

    Jumpin' the Gun
Doug: Unless you know something, the rest of US fans don't, your assessmentof "Doan's Final Game in Phoenix" is a little pre-mature. What if the Coyote's last game is #7 of the Stanley Cup Finals? Has the new ownership deal for the Coyotes been trashed? I dunno, you tell me. A little pesimistic, ya think? I agree with the accolades and cheers for Captain Coyote. He's been a true role-model. I ask, report on the results of the team's future, when the decision is finalized.

    Sad night
You can be the most avid Coyotes fan, which I am, and see the writing on the wall. Am I still praying for a miracle? Absolutely, but just in case God's answer is no, I have my center ice tickets in hand along with white face paint and white hair spray. The sport, not just Doan, didn't get a fair shake here. Ownership didn't take it seriously and thus they let the team drown. I don't care what sport it is, you can't move to a new city and fail and expect to stay in business let alone a virtually foreign sport.

    Sad night continued...
I do agree with Gambo though, I think the NHL knows the team is leaving and I think the classy thing would have been to let the fans know the official word after we went down 3-0. I understand not wanting it to be a distraction for the playoffs, but when the hill is as steep as it is now, might as well lay it on us and let all the fans have a chance to say goodbye. Win or lose, tonight is going to be a sad night. Captain Coyote, thanks for your heart and loyalty, it is an extremely rare thing in sports today. Look at the NFL...
