    Kolb and...
How can u down Kolb. He started and put up excellent numbers. He didnt lose his job, he was injured. Vick played very well and was winning.Kolb never got a chance again at the helm.GREEN,quit being one of those local beat writers that calls for the coache's head for a bad season n treadn thru a rebuild you MORON!He DIK to work with and put a struggling Warner where he could excel and brought a prolific loser to a super bowl! I hate when local media start calling for the ousting of a quality star and by far the BEST coach one of the oldest teams in football history has ever had.

    Ken Whisenhunt
I used to have Raiders season tickets for eight years. Since we moved to the Phoenix area six years ago, we have become Cards fans. The hiring of Coach Whisenhunt was the smartest thing that the Cards have done. He is a great coach. In fact, I would like to see him one day become the G.M. for the Cards. No matter the end result of the Q.B. situation, his job should not be on the line. I am one that believes that Kevin Kolb is a franchise Q.B., and the Cards should give up whatever it takes to get him.

If Coach Whiz is the coach for a ten year period, he will add so much stability and they will be in the playoffs most of the time. The hiring of Horton as D.C. will prove to be outstanding as well. Who knows; maybe one day Whiz as G.M. and Horton as head coach of Cards. Folks already compare Horton with the current Steelers coach.

    oh yeah
I also think that he is still probably the best choice out there as far as we know with the info we have. If you were to have to spend a #1 pick on a QB, why not one that has room, age-wise, to grow, experience, you know there is talent and he can compete in the NFL and he has a cache of weapons surounding him..much more so than he did in Philly rather than a complete unknown. I agree a #1 and a player is too much even for him, but just a #1...I dont see not justifying that.

    The thing everyone is missing....
Who else lines up behind center? Kolb is the best AVAILABLE choice. Bulger? Come on. Palmer? (headcase + injuries) Orton. Please! Defining moment? 2nd round pick his year? Maybe..question the 2nd round pick. -Our new RB may end up good or very good...but a swap of picks and we could of had Dalton or we pick up Ayers to fill our needs. Ask yourself: Do you want a team that competes and wins or do you want a 4/5 win season? Defining? No...simple! Best option, Best player wants him on the team, fit for the offense, and he wants to be here! Good recipe!
