    I am tired of reading sports articles and feeling like a teenage girl wrote it...espo, do you really need to establish some ridiculous simile or metaphor in every paragraph? I get it, you are up on your current events...why don't you push some print for The Dirty, or better yet, US Weekly. This is ARIZONA SPORTS DOT COM, not your own personal GOSSIP COLUMN! No personal disrespect intended here, but your writing style has been on my nerves for a while, and you tend to choose content that I mostly would care to read about, sans your bullsh@t.

    And on that note, PLEASE DO NOT TRADE FOR KOLB!! I know it puts my entire perspective and any credibility I have on the line, but I am a believer, alongside Bertrand Berry, that Vince Young would really have a profound impact on this team...we will need mobility unless we are prepared to overhaul the guard/tackle positions on the OL completely, and he is the ANTI LEINART, which in my eyes could only mean one thing...WINS BABY! Good arm, lot to prove, hungry to show that he belongs. I like those odds.

    While Curt was arguably worth it, it was hardly a 1-sided win for the D-backs. Padilla went on to be one of the better SPs in baseball for the phils for several years, finishing multiple seasons with an era in the 3s. Daal was less impressive but did go 13-7 for them in 2001. Figueroa was basically a one year wonder, but was still decent SP for them, with an era in the 3s in 2001. Even Lee put up OK, if mediocre, numbers. Still your overall point remains valid, phi has traded us some stars before, certainly wouldn't mind if it turned out they did it again.
