He likes money just like all of us. He also wants to win.. badly.. If Kolb is what some think he is, he may sign here. If not, he has no reason to stay here on a rebuilding team when he can go to a contender.
My opinion is he will leave.
Also, Fitz is head and shoulders above Lebron regardless of whether or not he leaves..
Good read Espo
Fitz wants to win and go down as the greatest WR of all-time. He wants to go to the team that will best give him that opportunity. I certainly don't blame him for that.People chastize Randy Moss all of the time for not living up to his abilities. Fitz wants to take every advantage of his god-given talents. I just hope he feels that his best chance to win is with the Cards.
The Cav's never got LeBron any help, but the Cards did the opposite for Fitz. He's a man of integrity and I take him for his word, so let's not get worked up.
And the Cardinals are ready to make him the highest paid player in Franchise history, what is keeping Fitzgerald from signing today? Its because one of the two parties involved is being duplicitous. Why would the Cardinals risk losing their best known and fan favorite player? They have to spend the dough by the new CBA. So my money is on Fitzgerald is the one who is not really meaning what he is saying. JUST SIGN ALREADY FITZGERALD! Your not signing already cost us Malcome Floyd and other top WR freeagents because Cardinals wanted to sign you first before adding new money to the payroll.
