    Couldn't Agree More
I usually have some sort of argument with your perspectives Gambo, but you are right on point with this column! Please explain to me how a player is supposed to find his rythym when he doesn't play for an extended period of time? Parra is a perfect example. He's hitting over .280 and has the highest BA for any 8th hole hitter in the league! What more do you want Gibby? I love 'Gibby-ball' and I think he does a great job, but I am beginning to question his 'everyone plays' mentality. Go Dbacks.

    Right on Gambo
No sense in saving players for the playoffs when there is no assurances yet that we'll make it there. Dbacks need to play their starters, use their vets and treat every game like a playoff game.

Remember, this is smoke and mirrors
This will not be popular, but they are not playing for this season. This is great, feels good, and is unbelievable, but... lets face it. The D Backs are not a playoff team. They are the beneficiaries of a Giants team that has lost all their top players. They also had a good run of hitting. This team is what it is..Upton, Kennedy, Hudson, and..... Point is, the everyone plays mentality has to stay as they are playing for next year- playing to see who can be on the roster next season..

    A bit more
I know, I know.. they can catch lightning in a bottle and who knows what can happen. We saw what will happen last week against the Phillies and Braves- they were a slider away to a recently acquired utility guy form being swept in both series, against playoff teams.. This team has been great- I LOVE them. But riding Montero, Parra, Roberts, and Young will not win a series this year, or ever.. This year is gravy. I know they have to fight to stay in the playoffs, but realistically they have to see what they have for next season..
