Yes folks, Burfict is an All American alright-----All American Idiot that is! Any guy that makes the stupid penalties he does should be benched. He's a liability to his team. Some of those big linemen should take him out behind the woodshed and explain the program to him.
Sheesh.. Leave the kid alone. I think he has tried to change, but he can't. He is intense. That is good in a football player-ask Wolfley- that intensity- that kill or be killed mentality-that fire and desire.. He is also young and lets face it, poorly coached. CDE isnt exactly known for making young men into outstanding citizens. It just seems that Burficts penalties either cone on a 3rd and short stop, or a 3rd and long that winds up being 1st and 10. I say give him the long leash again let him go "beast". We need that in our defense..

In every one of his tackles - he leads with his head and in more times than not---he misses. Not sure, but I believe 3 sacks cam at UCD? He has had one otherwise. He may a tough guy, but he still doesnt know how to play the game well. He has leaned on his physicality and mean-ness, disregarding proper technique. This falicy is easily identified which will cause his to slip to late 2nd or early 3rd round. It is my understanding that the staff has tried to teach him, but he also disregarded! Not willing to learn+undisciplined+B Performance = backup.
"Football, as we all know, is an emotional game."
No it isn't! It is an emotional game for the fans. For players it's a controlled game. If you let your emotions get away from you, you're easy pickings.
Burfict has to learn to play under control. he's doing that. But he has to think about it. This affects his game.. for now.
Once it becomes second nature his old confidence and skills will return.
Football is a game played under control. A high intensity game, but played under control nonetheless.
