To judge us on. Ya it was homecoming but it was against one of the worst college football teams the in country. Money is tight around here so why would people pay money to go to the game when they all knew the game was going to be over by half time. Come judge us at the U of A game in a few weeks then they will see the passion.
He's pretty much spot on. Plus, that picture is a bad representation of the crowd that was actually there. Don't use a pregame picture to prove a point.
The game was held on the same day that Halloween parties across the state were being held. It was against Colorado- worst team in the Pac!
When I tune into 620, I never hear anything about ASU, or rarely if I do. When I finally do hear some coverage for ASU it is always negative.
So Dougie, if you want fans showing up to see ASU football games, stop trying to cut down on them at every chance you get. If not, shut up. This hack is one of the most annoying guys on the radio. I feel bad that Wolf has had to deal with his crap for so long.
Who paid for your ticket? How many season tickets do you pay for? I've been hearing this same stupid argument from you for months, especially with the DBacks. Is it possible that, in a ridiculously sprawled metropolis where most people have a 20+ mile drive to any stadium, there are better things to do than spend about 5 hours driving, parking, and watching a game that could easily be viewed at home for free? Season tickets for most teams cost upwards of $5k for a pair of decent seats.
I have to agree with most of the comments, there were 50k plus fans at this game against one of the worst teams in the country. 53k fans would fill or almost fill most other Pac12 stadiums outside of LA. Also our fans have proven that they will show up for a big game which a bowl will be and it seems that we have traveled well all year.
For those who don't know ASU season tickets are a great deal they will not cost you $5k and cost a lot of time or money to park. I sit in the lower bowl and paid $400 for the entire year for two seats. I have no problem parking and walking to my seats 20 to 30 minutes prior to the game and I get out of the game at the end with relatively little problems. Its a great time and well worth the price.
