    My suggestion (a serious one) would be that both teams should have over a .500 winning record. In the case like this season, since the South does not have one team above .500 then the second team playing in the league Championship Game should come from the second team in the North (Stanford). This would make for a better and more closely contested game for the right to play in the Rose Bowl.

    USC would be in the game if not for their ban from post-season play. They're 10-2 if I'm not mistaken. Normally a 6-6 team wil not make it to the championship game. I think it's a little early to call for reform of the Pac-12 championship. But I love idea #7 -lol
