    Vince Marotta Article
Two problems with this article. First it's a shame the best person you can base anything on is Paul Finebaum. He is a little twirp who thrives on stirring the pot to keep his ratings up. Everybody in the South despises him. Second, he doesn't even have a Heisman ballot so Vince fell for his little ruse. No real football fan in the SEC looks down our noses at any other major conference. We recognize that conference strenght goes in cycles. But if you are going to throw rocks, plese do it based on a comment from somebody with a little credibility, not Finebaum.

    Well.......
I seem to remember a Sugar Bowl game where an SEC team from the state of Georgia held the high flying passing attack of the Hawaii Warriors lead by Colt Brennan pretty much in check the whole game. You need any more examples, Vince?

SEC defenses good b/c SEC offenses stink?
Hahaha yes, good article... but no, never thought the SEC defenses are good b/c SEC offenses stink. Here is why: LSU mauled Orgegon this year - Oregon is the Pac 12 Conference Champion with allegedly a stellar offense. LSU also mauled West Virginia the Big East Conference Champion, also with an allegedly stellar offense. And ever see the final scores of the LSU or Bama games? Half a hundred is typical. So uhhh, No. Never thought the SEC defenses are good b/c SEC offenses stink.
