    The SEC's offenses are held to normal numbers by excellent defenses. Remember that Oklahoma's offense, that was scoring 50+ points per game, was held to 14 by Florida's defense in the 2008 championship.

    I remember a decent Mike Shula team accepting a bid to play Mike Leach's Texas Tech in his home state. "Oh, TTU leads the country in offense!" "Can Bama score enough to keep up?" Anyway, Bama held the Red Raiders to 10 points on the way to a close win. Don't think because Bama and LSU have the best defenses in the nation that they don't score points: Bama averaged 36 PPG and LSU averaged 38.5.

    BCS has been around since 1998, and look who has dominated college football since. The SEC fans have been open that before 1990, the Big10 played the best football in the nation. Since 1990, the SEC has dominated college football. Look at the facts- More national titles. More Heisman winners. More 1st round NFL players. Most NFL players from any conference. Most bowl wins. AS FOR THE ARGUMENT that a Big12 offense could score on SEC defenses, all I point to is the 2008 BCS CHampionship. Oklahoma averaged 52 points a game, and scored 12 all night against TEBOW and the GATORS. Big12 can't hang.
